Twist and Shout outs!

What a day! 'Twisted Tales' went live yesterday and received so much support from facebook friends and contacts, that it has already started to sell well online. The book's own FB page 'twistedtales2016', as well as this website received hundreds of visitors in the first hour. The day was topped off with a visit from Jo Scriven of the Ross Gazette and an impromptu book signing at Lydney Yacht Club.

I was particularly touched by the people I met yesterday, who shared their personal experiences of cancer. It was almost as if the book has given people permission to talk about it. I must stress that the book is not about cancer, but is a collection of short stories about everything and anything. The only thing that they have in common is that each has a twist at its end.

Thanks to Emma Garvey of Macmillan Cancer Support for her help. I look forward to working with her to maximise the royalties made from the sales of this book, all of which will be donated to the charity.
