Coming shortly ...
The cold dark nights are going to be with us for a while yet, so why not enjoy a story before bedtime? I am continuing to work on my historical novel, Chariot of the Sun, which deals with the final days end of Cromwell’s Commonwealth, but it is still a work in progress. It will be published under the name of Hannah More. My children’s books are issued under my own name and felt I that a ‘nom de plume’ would be a good idea, as adult historical fiction is a very different genre. In preparation for the (eventual) appearance of Chariot of the Sun, a new website is currently under construction. Rather than leave it with nothing more than a home page, a section has been added in which I hope to share a short story on a monthly basis. After all, Charles Dickens submitted his first story, A Dinner at Poplar Walk, to the London periodical Monthly Magazine, and I am sure that If he was alive today, he would have been a blogger. Although I have no such high hopes, those of you who follow @TheSaltySeaCat on Twitter will know that I place great store in social media as a platform for book promotion. For example, several of the ‘Accidental Cats’ poems recently shared on Twitter, went viral and were shared by Warwick University and Cats Protection UK. So why not let your brain make it’s own pictures? https://hilaryorme.wixsite.com/hannahmore/shorts
