Thank you to Linton Village Hall Committee for its valued support. The advert for the event states,

"Local author Hilary Orme will read extracts from her children's books and will also be signing copies of these and her other book 'Twisted Tales'. They will be available to buy as the perfect Christmas present. Hilary is donating her royalties from ‘Twisted Tales’ to Macmillan Cancer Support, and Linton Village Hall Committee is delighted to be able to support Hilary in her charity venture by also donating money raised from the tea to Macmillan Cancer Support. This should be a lovely event, in the twilight of the winter's afternoon, so please come along, bring your friends and family and enjoy a lovely candlelit Christmas Tea whilst listening to Hilary read extracts from her books. This should appeal to children of all ages! The Victorian Hall (originally built as the village school) will be appropriately decorated, and will provide the perfect backdrop to the beginning of Christmas festivities. Entry, (which includes tea and cakes) £5. Children free."
