Avast Ye! Pevensey the Pirate King has arrived.

After much editing and proofreading, the deed is done! Pevensey the Pirate King is now available from Amazon. I hope to have a few copies for sale at the Bookshop Launch at Evesham’s Festival of Words, in the Almonry on Friday 16th June. The launch event has drinks and nibbles, as well as readings from a number of authors. Better not partake of too much grog, or the reading might be entertaining, in the wrong way! On Saturday 24th June, I will be at Lydney Harbour, the home of the Megan Waterfield Series. I will be selling all four titles, as well as judging the Pirate Fancy Dress Competition. The event starts at 11.00 and has music, courtesy of the Lydney Festival, in addition to a BBQ, a tea tent, craft stalls and even a tuk tuk selling chilled prosecco. The Severn Area Rescue Association will give a demonstration on the River Severn, the Sea Scouts will organise a Duck Race on the canal and a number of yachts will visit from other sailing clubs down the river. There are several events for children, including crafts, lucky dip, frog racing, face painting and a bouncy castle. Those familiar with my books will recognise many of the locations mentioned in them. The Old Shipyard House is actually the home of Lydney Yacht Club and the real Fiona is moored in the Inner Harbour. The latest in the Megan Waterfield Series features the Fearless Five, once again, as they encounter pirates, a pink bouncy castle and the world of film making. The book has its own Facebook page called Pevensey the Pirate King and the Twitter account, @TheSaltySeaCat.
